DESCRIPTION:The Break The Mould Apprentice Program offers a unique and exciting opportunity for dancers ages 16-18 to take their skills to the next level. Participants will work closely with local choreographers\, gaining hands-on experience in the creative process and rehearsal settings. This program also provides the chance to connect with professional dancers in the Tampa area\, fostering valuable industry relationships and mentorship. In addition to improving technical abilities\, dancers will have the opportunity to perform and showcase their talents in front of live audiences. Be a part of an extraordinary opportunity to show your work to the world in the second film of our series!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDance Rising Tampa Bay \n“The Power of Water” \n  \nThis an opportunity for local artists to present their dance films in a grassroots project. Four dance film compilations will be created from videos collected from four open calls to Hillsborough County artists. The purpose of this project is to increase awareness and appreciation of the dance arts\, encourage the creation of dance films\, expand the visibility of dance in our county\, and feature local artists. Dance Rising will provide greater access to dance for our area by including free and open calls to artists sent to our eclectic dance community. Free film presentations will be shown in multiple accessible locations.The films will be presented at multiple sites throughout the county and available online as well. \nThis Call to Artists is for the second of the four dance films to be created.  This film will be a compilation of recordings featuring dancers performing site specific works in a natural setting\, specifically water.  Please use some water element in your work.
