DESCRIPTION:DanceUSF is excited to showcase our students’ talent and skill in this Spring Dance Concert. Investigating themes that include reality versus dreams\, DanceUSF faculty choreographers – Bliss Kohlmyer\, Jeanne Travers and Paula Nunez – will present newly devised works performed by USF dance students in this fall production. Additionally\, world-renowned contemporary choreographer Kate Weare will set a new work on the USF dancers for its world-premiere in this production. \nTickets for the 2023-2024 Season are being offered free of charge and are available on a first-come\, first-served basis. The lobby will open 1 hour prior to the event\, and the doors will open approximately 30 minutes before the performance. Please arrive ahead of time to ensure your ticket as seating is limited.

SUMMARY:PAMC - Performing Arts Medicine Conference
DESCRIPTION:At the University of South Florida\, research and clinical faculty from across departments and colleges have met since 2008 to unite intersecting interests. The Collaborative invites community experts and practitioners to work together toward promoting Performing Arts Medicine research and practice. \nUSF-PAMC held the first\, second\, third\, and fourth Southeast Regional Conferences in March 2014\, 2015\, June 2018\, and March 2022. The USF conferences drew internationally renowned keynote speakers\, health professionals\, artists\, practitioners\, and educators from the region\, the nation\, and abroad. These conferences’ high visibility and success have demonstrated USF’s leadership in this multidisciplinary collaboration of the arts\, medicine\, and research in performing arts medicine. The International PAMA recognized USF-PAMA with the 2017 PAMA Service Award.
