Dance Rising Tampa Bay Film #1 Premiere
Dance Rising Tampa Bay is a film series funded by the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners, On Your Toes and Dance Tampa Bay in collaboration with Mad Bear Productions and Heidi Marks, and compositions by Nick Ewing and Sean Bucheck.
Choreographers/dancers were asked to record themselves in Tampa iconic locations. Many of these places were severely impacted, and several filming locations could no longer be used. Some are pristinely captured here undamaged.
Thank you to Film Tampa Bay and Mad Bear productions for tirelessly processing permits, rescheduling them several times due to the hurricanes. And thank you to all the dancers and choreographers that make this city a vibrant dance community.
