On June 6, 2023, Dance Tampa Bay was officially created and incorporated. With goals set for a working board, website, membership platform, 501c3 established with exemption, town halls and community recognition, we had our work cut out. Although hurricanes, Helene and Milton, left many of us with impromptu planning, and leaving destruction for some in the wake, they also gave us the opportunity to show the world how we work together. We have the chance to reassess our needs, act on it and become stronger for it. This year, Dance Tampa Bay focused on visibility, awareness and advocacy.
