With goals set for a working board, website, membership platform, 501c3 established with exemption, town halls and community recognition, we had our work cut out. Jimmy Award Winning Student, Best Dancer – Congratulations, Alana Hogan!!
Congratulations to Alana Hogan for bringing home Best Dancer at The Jimmy Awards! What an accomplishment - we are so proud of you and Dylan for representing Tampa and the Straz Center with your talents. Welcome home! Alana Hogan, a recent graduate of Gibbs High School, was named Best Dancer at the National High School Musical Theatre Awards, known as the Jimmy Awards. Her award, presented by The Shubert Organization, came with a $2,500 scholarship. She was recognized for excellence in dance and movement. In May, Alana won the Broadway Star

The Equus Projects Tour
In March of 2023, The Equus Project came into my home and shared their talent and time. Joanna Mende Shaw, artistic director, has long been a mentor and inspiration. When I was dancing professionally, she invited me to work with her due to my past experiences in the world of horses.
